Personal Profile

Katelyn is a very active, cheerful little girl. She loves being outdoors and active. Riding her bike or playing on the swing set are some of her favorite things to do. She also enjoys playing with her dolls, especially her Barbies. Movies that involve princesses or Barbie herself will captivate Katelyn. She loves to imagine herself in the movies. Full of life and energy, Katelyn typically spends about 20 minutes on some activities and then is off to begin a different adventure. If given three magical wishes Katleyn wants, “lots of dinosaurs, mermaids, and princesses, and stuffed animals.” Katelyn loves centers at school. She can struggle in school with not doing her work, not following directions, and talking. She does not like it when the teacher “moves my clip” as a warning or consequence. Katelyn is a leader at heart and likes to take charge. She is quite capable of deciding how she wants things to go and knowing what she wants. As a natural leader, she tackles following directions from others as a challenge. When things are not able to go the way she envisioned, she will benefit from extra guidance, nurturing, and support with firm boundaries. She can express her emotions using physical actions, so close supervision is needed to help her continue to learn other appropriate ways to express her feelings.

Desired Family Profile

Katelyn needs an experienced, structured, nurturing, and supportive family who will provide clearly defined limits consistently and firmly. Katelyn also needs a family who will adopt her siblings as well. The family will be willing to participate in any recommended supportive services with the children.

About Me

I love princesses, Barbies, and dinosaurs!
